I-MEB EMS SOLUTIONS

I-MEB EMS SYSTEM

The I-MEB system is a multi-layered software suite operating on control devices prefabricated by MEB. Its functionality ranges from acting as a communication protocol converter for field devices to providing cloud-based functions and virtual power systems linked to energy exchanges. As a high-level master system, I-MEB EMS integrates or utilizes existing device controllers provided by manufacturers to create comprehensive functions for all power generation and distribution systems. This ensures the harmonic cooperation of components and equipment from multiple manufacturers at the investor's site or within a single investment project. The I-MEB system also allows for the controlled access and exchange of sensitive energy-related information.

I-MEB BESS SYSTEM INTEGRATION

I-MEB integrates signals from all devices and controllers within power generation and distribution systems. The goal is to optimize the operation of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and maximize the efficiency of all investor assets while adhering to the constraints imposed by DSO (Distribution System Operator) regulations.

I-MEB MICROGRID CONTROLER

I-MEB serves as a central integration system for multiple energy generation and storage units, managing them in relation to the constraints at the microgrid's point of interconnection with the DSO grid or within a virtual area. The system integrates with most commercially available PV inverters, PV farm controllers, energy storage units, and metering systems. Upon request, we can integrate communication protocols for specific, proprietary equipment. The EMS coordinates operating parameters to maximize local self-consumption and ensure compliance with DSO limits.

I-MEB VIRTUAL ENERGY SYSTEM FOR ENERGY CLUSTER AND COMMUNITIES

Energy clusters and cooperatives should function as entities that balance energy surpluses within their operational area. Standard operator billing systems do not allow for active management of installations because they rely on historical data. The economic efficiency of clusters and cooperatives should instead be based on active elements—such as energy storage, real-time metering, and generation control. This maximizes the entity's profitability in line with statutory goals that favor balancing energy production and consumption within the cluster in real-time. I-MEB features modules that allow for the real-time control of multiple distributed installations, including data collection for ongoing settlements between cooperative members.

I-MEB GRID SERVICES

The I-MEB system includes control modules for:

-Energy trading functions

-Automatic frequency and voltage regulation

-Reactive power control

-Capacity Market and DSR (Demand Side Response/Dynamic System Reserve) Activation of these functions is available via a cloud access portal for brokers and local operators, with several features operating in automatic mode. The I-MEB EMS is essential for generating revenue streams for energy storage through grid services and is dynamically updated to meet market demands.

I-MEB CLOUD SERVICES

I-MEB cloud services increase system flexibility in the following areas:

-Automated response to dynamic energy prices (TGE RDN, and NORDPOOL).

-Access platforms for energy brokers.

-Virtual power systems for cooperatives, clusters, and purchasing groups.

-Energy billing and settlement systems.

-Detailed data analysis for system optimization and economic performance tracking.

-User access management and security levels.

-Remote support and software updates.

I-MEB SCADA

I-MEB features its own SCADA module tailored for professional power industry applications. It is independent of external communication and includes an offline mode for emergency operations. Through the SCADA system, we provide full control over installations and technical operations. I-MEB SCADA is used for real-time monitoring and remote operation by both the investor and O&M staff.

I-MEB E-MAIL AND SMS STATUS NOTFICATION

I-MEB includes an integrated module for notifications regarding status changes, switching operations, threshold violations, alarm values, and error/emergency signals. Recipient addressing and the scope of notifications are fully customizable according to the investor's requirements.

I-MEB COMMUNICATION MODUL

The system utilizes communication modules that ensure the highest level of cybersecurity. It supports multi-path communication via the Internet, LAN, LTE, and Satellite Internet. Module converters allow the system to connect with devices using all standard industrial communication protocols.

I-MEB PARTIAL BMS (BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM) FUNCTION

Energy optimization offered by I-MEB EMS extends beyond energy management and microgrid coordination. We can integrate the management of heat sources (e.g., heat pumps), lighting systems, and other components with controllable actuators (such as valves). The system can also manage access control for sensitive areas.

I-MEB CYBER SECURITY

The I-MEB EMS system complies with all current cybersecurity standards regarding component selection, software architecture, and data/connection encryption. We offer security at the level required for professional utility-scale power systems.
