O&M and monitoring

WHY IS PROFESSIONAL SERVICE SO IMPORTANT?

Energy systems, energy storage facilities, and renewable energy sources are capital-intensive investments designed for at least 20 years of efficient operation. This is only possible with constant supervision and proper maintenance by highly trained and experienced personnel. It is not just an option—it is a necessity to ensure that the projected return on investment (ROI) and profitability targets are met. It is in the investor's best interest to entrust their capital to a professional firm offering comprehensive O&M services that cover not only the primary components but also the entire auxiliary infrastructure and control software. Through a professional O&M agreement, you safeguard the depreciation and economic efficiency of your investment.

MEB MONITORING CENTRE

MEB offers monitoring services as part of a comprehensive O&M agreement for both proprietary and third-party systems, utilizing our proprietary I-MEB EMS software for remote operation and parameter monitoring. Depending on the chosen subscription level, we provide various response times and availability guarantees. For large-scale investments, we offer 24/7 monitoring. Upon detecting an emergency or a deviation from operating parameters, the monitoring center immediately triggers service and repair procedures.

O&M FOR BESS

Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), along with their energy management systems and microgrids, are among the most complex energy solutions, involving vast amounts of data and parameters. Preventing failures and ensuring high availability requires specialization and years of experience. MEB is one of the few companies in Central Europe offering manufacturer-independent service and maintenance for industrial energy storage systems.

AUTOMATION AND MODERNIZATION FOR DISTRIBUTOR AND TRANSFORMER STATION

Autonomous operation and the reduction of on-site personnel are key economic factors in the exploitation of energy equipment. Implementing solutions based on the I-MEB EMS software for the remote operation of electrical switchgear and transformer stations allows for significant operational cost reductions and enables remote response within the O&M framework for systems connected to these stations. The energy storage, RES source, and power evacuation are integrated into a single system for remote access and automation.

MANUFACTURERS’ SOFTWARE UPGRADE SERVICE BATTERY MODULE REPLACEMENT

As part of our cooperation with battery system manufacturers, we offer software update services for BMS (Battery Management Systems) at the Master BMS, Rack BMS, and Module BMS levels. We possess specialized equipment that allows us to perform fast and safe battery module replacements, regardless of differences in voltage or state of charge (SoC).

BESS SPARE PARTS LOGISTICS FOR EAST AND CENTRAL EUROPE

Spare parts logistics is a critical component of the O&M process, enabling fast response times and minimizing downtime during failures. Spare parts, particularly battery components, require specific storage conditions and regular maintenance to prevent de-calibration during long-term storage. MEB provides logistics center services for spare parts as part of O&M agreements for our own projects, as well as for selected global battery manufacturers operating in Central and Eastern Europe.

CLOUD SERVICES FOR ENERGY TRADERS

In projects where the I-MEB EMS system is installed—specifically in energy storage and RES facilities—our cloud-based technology enables Energy Traders and Brokers to operate effectively. The system provides the ability to control and program operating times while offering a real-time view of generation and storage parameters. Beyond standard charging and discharging, our cloud service allows for the switching of grid service functions, such as frequency and voltage regulation, reactive power control, and power reserve readiness. It also offers the flexibility to expand functionality in line with future market changes. Access is provided via a dedicated web portal for the broker or through a customized API for integration with the broker's external software.

TRAINING FOR BESS OWNERS' STAFF ON FIRST-LEVEL O&M

For end-users of energy storage systems, MEB provides training for First-Level O&M. Engaging your own personnel in first-level maintenance increases response speed and flexibility during emergencies, especially when combined with professional guidance from our monitoring center.
